You might not have even thought about this holiday yet, but it is only a week away and if you’re shopping online for a July 4th outfit, you need to order now so that it ships in time! Here are some outfit ideas for you based on various events you may be attending:
- Barbecue – Lately I’ve been obsessed with bodysuits, so I would definitely recommend wearing one with some high-waisted denim shorts for an outside July 4th event. Pair it with flats or wedges like the above styled pair (on sale for $42 here!) depending on the location. Linked at the bottom of the post are some great options along with some cute, color-appropriate tops that would be great with denim cutoffs as well. The cutoffs styled below can be found here and the top is now just $10 here! Another perfect outdoor option would be an airy sundress or a romper.
- Pool or Beach – Patriotic pattern or even just colored bathing suits are perfect for this holiday! The flag printed kimono linked at the bottom of this post is perfect over your suit, along with some red white or blue flip flops.
- Evening fireworks – This depends of course on where in the country you live. Here in Florida it stays hot in the evenings and I would say to go with the same outfit you had on during the day (unless of course it’s a bathing suit!) In the cooler states, you can find a light cardigan in a patriotic color and change into jeans. Another great option is a red, white, and/or blue maxidress like the linked ones linked below! For a bit fancier event pick a red/white dress with blue shoes or a blue/white dress with red heels as styled below. These heels are now on sale here!
