Here are the details on where you can buy the exact items in my look above:
Dress: Asos ‘Ruched Side Satin Maxi Slip’ (black out of stock, but other colors here) – $45
Clutch: Target Sam&Libby (on sale!) – $22
Shoes: JustFab ‘Tyla’ – $40 (2 shoes for $40 if you’re new to the site!)
I wore this to a wedding back in May and was so pleased with how the evening went! These wedges from JustFab are super comfortable and gave me the perfect height so that my dress wasn’t dragging at all. Quick warning – this “dress” is actually officially deemed a “slip” by Asos (I say, who needs titles!) so it is somewhat sheer towards the bottom. Also, the slit is actually much higher up on the leg, so I sewed the dress a few more inches below so that it wold not be inappropriate for the occasion. This clutch I am truly obsessed with! It matches the wedges perfectly with the black tassel detail and would be ideal for any casual or fancy event day or night! There is plenty of room inside for anything you might need to carry on you!
Below is the look I wore to a wedding last weekend at the beautiful Queens County Farm Museum in New York.
Dress: House of CB ‘Loren’ (on sale!) – $99
Clutch: Target WhoWhatWear (on sale!) – $18
Shoes: Call It Spring ‘Aralle’ (no longer available online; similar here) – $50
Bangle: Kate Spade ‘Valentines Day Idiom Bangle’ – $40
I have long been an Instagram fan of the label House of CB. You probably recognize this brand rocked by many celebrities including Khloe Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, etc. Their prices are a bit high for the average gal, but the quality is exquisite! I can assure you that this is the highest quality made dress that I’ve ever owned. The material is thick and even the zipper in the back just feels so sturdy and well made. This dress really sucks you in and is very flattering on the body! For this outdoorsy farm location wedding, I paired it with my Call It Spring heels I’ve mentioned before. If you look closely you can see the heels are made of a light pink fabric behind the palm frond detail. This color matches the dress perfectly! Knowing I would wear these heels, I picked up this adorable clutch at Target that plays on the olive green on the heels’ palm fronds as well. I think I will get a ton of use out of this clutch in the future as well!
