Hey guys! So I have to admit – I was on my very best behavior during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I only bought ONE THING!!! Can you believe it?! Haha Here is the backstory: I had swatched the Lorac Pro Palette a few months ago and fell in love with the ‘Gold’ shadow, but didn’t really want to drop almost $50 on the entire palette since I wasn’t exactly dying to have the other shadows. When I saw that Nordstrom offered a special “Beauty Exclusive” Lorac Refined Romance Palette containing that Gold shade on sale for only $18 during this #NSale, I decided I had to go for it! This ships free and also came with 5 free beauty samples (mine were 3 perfume samples, a Charlotte Tillbury cleanser sample, and a Burberry Glow product sample). Obviously, this palette has adorable packaging! It magnets shut and has a great sized mirror. The palette includes 6 shadows: 2 are matte (bottom left and bottom right) and the other 4 are shimmer. On the far right is a matte blush, neighbored on the left by 2 different highlighters: the left one is more pearl, the right one is pinky. Here is a close up!

Below is a look I did using all but one of the shadows, the blush, and the cream highlighter. I put Gold on the lid, Burgundy/Brown Matte in the outer corner and crease, topped after with the Burgundy/Brown Shimmer, Light Rose/Taupe Matte as a transition color, Ivory Shimmer on the brow bone, and then Burgundy/Brown Shimmer along the lower lash line. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion underneath, then finished the eyes with my very favorite eyeliner on my upper and lower waterlines, L’Oreal Voluminous Extensions mascara, and Skone Cosmetics Tatooed Eyeliner for the top lid liner.
