Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying some time off with friends, family, and loved ones! I wanted to jump online and create a post for you compiling all of the information about one of the biggest (and my favorite!) beauty sales of the year: the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale. This began today, September 4th, and runs through September 24th. Below I will share with you general info (a must-read if you’ve never shopped this sale before!), my specific shopping tips, and my picks of favorite sale items! Let’s go!
Sale Information: This sale runs for 21 days (obviously) and has three different categories of items, each discussed in detail below:
“Beauty Steals“ – each day of the sale will have 2 or 3 different items featured as that day’s Beauty Steal items. These are usually around 50% off regular price and are available in-store or online on Ulta.com (click here for a link to the calendar of all beauty steals for the entire sale event!) There are a few specials that will be noted as online-only. Also, there are some Platinum Perk items that are only available to Ulta Rewards Platinum Members. *Note: Also, if you are a Platinum Member, all Beauty Steals will ship free for you if you shop online! (this is a dream come true for myself and any other online shoppers who don’t want to rush to the Ulta store each day you want to purchase a Beauty Steal item!) Below are my top picks for each week of the sale:
Week 1: September 4-10
- It Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner: $11 (originally $22) on September 5th only! This is my all-time favorite eyeliner ever, ever, ever! I swear by this liner and am always stumped as to why it is not talked about more often! This lasts all day on my waterline and never smudges down below my eyes. When it wears off eventually it’s almost like it just disappears into thin air, I swear! I will definitely be stocking up on these!
- Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths: $7.50 (originally $15) on September 7th only! If you’re looking for a new makeup remover wipe, these are divine! I love most of the products this brand makes and they rarely go on this deep of a sale, so take advantage of this! 30 wipes for $7.50 is basically a drugstore brand price!
- Tarte Double Ended Lipstick and Gloss: $12 (originally $24) on September 9th only! I have not personally tried this product, but I am thinking of purchasing it because I really love their Double Duty Beauty line. Everything, including this lipstick/gloss in one combo, is just so convenient and saves you space in your purse or makeup bag!
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duos: $11.50 (originally $23) on September 10th only! If you are a fan of this brow powder, now is the time to stock up as it rarely will be on sale! I personally am fine using drugstore brow powders (shoutout to NYX!) but if you prefer the Anastasia version, this is for you!
Week 2: September 11-17
- Tarte Longwear Liquid Eyeliner: $10 (originally $21) on September 11th only! I haven’t tried this, but I love pens like this for doing a flawless, easy cat-eye!
- Butter London Plus Rush Lipstick, Liner, or Gloss: $10 (originally $18-22) on September 13th only! This brand makes great lip products and this is a great price!
- BareMinerals Lifestyle Kits: 30% off on September 14th only! I love the kits this brand makes, and my favorite is their lip glosses! There is a kit of 5 glosses for $20, so with the sale you would get it for only $14! What a deal!
- BareMinerals Mineral Veil Finishing Powder: 40% off on September 17th only! This is a great setting powder with a translucent finish! Also great for sensitive skin.
Week 3: September 18-24
- Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser: $7.50 (originally $15) on September 18th only! This is one of my favorite skincare brands and now this cleanser is basically priced as a drugstore product!
- It Cosmetics Buffing Mineral Powder Brush: $15 (originally $30) on September 20th only! This would be great for foundation, setting the undereye, blush, and maybe even bronzer or highlighter!
- BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss: $9 (originally $18) on September 21st only! This is one of my favorite lip glosses, and I’ll take it at half price for sure!
- Too Faced La Matte Lipstick: $11 (originally $22) on September 23rd only! This is a great formula matte lipstick with a wide range of color options!
“Ulta Beauty Collection Beauty Steals“ – each day of the week, repeating throughout the sale, a different Ulta brand product will be on sale. See photo below:
“Hot Buys” – these are items that will be on sale for the entire length of the sale (9/4-9/24). Below is a listing of these, with a few comments I have written in red:

- Dr. Brandt Power Dose Vit C or Power Dose Vit D – $27.50-34.50 (originally $55-69) I might try this vitamin C serum! Great discount!
- Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Face Gels – $17.50 (originally $35)
