Hey babes! Today I’m bringing you a review of a skincare brand that is still fairly new on the market and you may not have yet heard of or tried: Drunk Elephant
Besides the fact that it has the most random, semi-cute name ever, this brand brings us so many high-quality skincare products that can really change your skin. The five products I’ve tried are reviewed below, but they have others that I’m dying to try as well!
B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel – This is a Vitamin B5 gel that provides hydration and improvement to skin tone. There are really a ton of ways to use this. You can apply it to your face or really anywhere on your body as a moisturizer after other skincare products. You can also use it under your regular moisturizer. Another way to use it is to mix it with any of your other skincare products or even add a drop into your foundation or primer! I love that this product is so versatile and lightweight yet super hydrating! Great for dry skin!
C-Firma Day Serum – This is a Vitamin C serum packed with antioxidants and fruit enzymes to help firm and brighten your skin while preventing and reversing the effects of sun damage. You should use this on a clean face before applying heavier products such as moisturizer or sunscreen. You can also mix this together with the B-Hydra Gel or use that after this serum. This is great for people like me who have dark spots from sun damage!
T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum – This is a 12% AHA/BHA serum that you use in the evening since AHA and BHA are acids that should not be used during the day when your skin will be exposed to the sun. These acids combine to help resurface your skin and reveal a brighter and more even skin tone. You should use this on a clean face before any other nighttime skincare products. This is truly great for someone like me with dark spots that needs to utilize the benefits of acid to even out skin tone!
Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil – This is an amazing face oil that contains Vitamin E and other antioxidants to hydrate and nourish the skin to create a natural glow. You can apply this to anywhere on your face or body that needs extra hydration and it can work for ALL skin types (so oily skin types need not shy away!) Use this morning, night, or anytime during the day after serums (which are thinner) and before moisturizers (which are thicker.) This is one of my favorite skin oils because it truly feels so luxurious!
Lala Retro Whipped Cream – This is a lightweight, whipped texture moisturizer that soothes, brightens, firms, and hydrates the skin. You can use it morning or night after all of your other skincare products. I loved the sample I got from my Sephora Play bag!
