Summer Empties

Hey babes, Happy Weekend! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term “empties,” you clearly haven’t read my previous Empties Posts! Click here to catch up on my reviews of all the products I’ve used up (and are thus now empty!) After using a product up entirely, it’s a good time for me to give my full review and tell you whether or not I would repurchase it. Click any product below to be linked to purchase! Also click here for my $ saving tricks!

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Lotion • $12.99 – One of my go-to moisturizers, this one is a classic for me! The texture is great and it contains SPF which is a MUST For me! Would definitely repurchase.

Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Eye • $100 – You guys now that I see the price tag on the full-size of this, I’m so impressed with myself! LOL I bought this during one of the PTR website’s holiday travel size sales for only $7. How did I get 0.3oz for $7, but they’re selling the 0.5oz full size for $100?? WHAT!? Now I want to repurchase the travel size during the next sale for the sheer fact of the incredible savings alone! On the real though, this is a nice eye cream and I’d def repurchase during the sale 😉 They just had one over both Memorial Day & July 4th Weekends so perhaps there will be another during Labor Day weekend?

Milk Makeup Blur Stick • $36 – I got this sample in my Sephora Play bag and was excited to try it out! I imagine the full size stick would be more convenient for application, but I wasn’t a big fan. I wouldn’t buy this because it crumbled up into small bits once applied to my face, almost like dead skin flaking off. I think primers sticks are just not for me!

Victoria’s Secret Bombshells In Bloom Eau De Parfum • $44.95 – One of my girlfriends got me this as a gift and I absolutely love the fresh floral scent! I tend to prefer sweet, light scents to heavy ones so this is right up my alley. I would recommend it for sure and it’s also on sale now 😉

Neutrogena Naturals Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes • $7.99 – So we got this in a gift bag at the South Florida Blogger Awards event I attended in the winter. I kept these in my car for wiping off my face after I go running and they did the trick perfectly! I like that they are natural and made without chemical ingredients. Would repurchase!

Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift Eau de Parfum • $22.99 – This is a perfume I’ve had for ages and always loved the fun fruity scent. As I mentioned above, it’s right up my alley and now that I had to link it for this post, I’m reminded of what a bargain it is! Would definitely repurchase 🙂

Becca Backlight Priming Filter • $38 – I received this sample as part of an Ulta Mid-Day Beauty Break a while back and it’s a great illuminating primer. If you have dry skin this is right up your alley to add some glow. If your skin is normal and you like that dewy look, it would be great. You can also use it to add to matte foundation to balance it out a little bit. I don’t think I’ll buy this because I have other primers I love more, but I would definitely recommend it for the uses mentioned above.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Lip Exfoliator • $3 – This is my favorite lip exfoliator! The price is unbeatable and the application is super simple since it’s in the lipstick form. Also that little cap on the bottom pops off and has lip balm too! Super easy to use, works great, and I can tell you I’ve already used three tubes of this and have many more on deck!

Soap & Glory Peaches And Clean Deep Cleansing Milk • $12 – I got this sample from Ulta and love the way it smells just like the Quaker Oats Peaches n Cream oatmeal! I loved it and would totally buy it just so I could smell that every time I wash my face! It has a creamy texture and is very cleansing. Would definitely buy the full size!

Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Sleeping Cream • $19.99 – I love products that contain Vitamin C because it is a must-have ingredient if you’re trying to fade dark spots like I am. This smells great and has a nice, thick texture too. I’d repurchase for sure!

Tarte Frxxxtion Stick Exfoliating Cleanser • $22 – I forget where I got this sample, but I loved this product! It is a stick you rub all over your face and can wash off right away for a quick exfoliation, or leave on for a few minutes for a more deep, mask-like exfoliating effect. I think whenever Tarte has a sale (this post tells you when brands have their sales! 😉 ) I will probably purchase the full size!

Mario Badescu Glycolic Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion • $18 – I only use Mario Badescu toners and it is one of my favorite skincare brands for sure! Glycolic acid is great for exfoliating skin to even up skin tone and the grapefruit contains vitamins to help fade dark spots as well. I already have backups of this stuff on deck, so I highly recommend this!
