Hey loves, Happy Weekend! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term “empties,” you clearly haven’t read my previous Empties Posts! Click here to catch up on my reviews of all the products I’ve used up (and are thus now empty!) After using a product up entirely, it’s a good time for me to give my full review and tell you whether or not I would repurchase it. Click any product below to be linked to purchase! Also click here for my $ saving tricks!
Dr. Brandt Needles No More 3-D Filler Mask • $95 – This is a super pricey mask that is supposed to help disguise wrinkles so that you don’t need filler. To be honest, if you’re into that sorta thing I’d just get the filler since the price is so high and it’ll work better! I wouldn’t purchase this in the full size.
Dr. Brandt Power Dose Vitamin C • $69 – I got this for half price during an Ulta Skincare Sale and it seems to be pretty good. Its hard for me to judge results as I did not see much improvement on my dark spots when using only this, but my dermatologist recommended still using a vitamin C serum in conjunction with my prescription hydroquinone cream and mandelic acid pads and this combo has shown real results! I have other vitamin C serums to use up, but I’d consider buying this one again if there was another sale.
Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion • $58 – This is a great exfoliator that is gentle since the exfoliating granules are very tiny. Great choice if you are looking for a high end exfoliator.
Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM • $65 – I got this small size for only $7 during the PTR memorial day travel minis sale! For that price, it was well worth it! However, at full price I think I’d say it is on par with other retinols on the market. This doesn’t irritate my skin at all, so I can use it nightly. I would repurchase at the sale price, but I’ve purchased a less expensive retinol since to review for you guys soon 😉
Skin Inc. Pure Revival Peel • $17–55 – I got a mini of this in my Sephora Play and it is a cool peel! When you massage it into the skin you can actually see and feel the dead skin rolling into little balls and washing off your skin! I’d purchase this if there was a sale.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask • $58 – Got a sample of this in Sephora Play as well and was pleased with it. Not a huge difference in my skin that was noticeable, but I just love trying new masks. I don’t think I’d buy the full size unless it was on sale.
Derma E Firming DMAE Moisturizer • $16.49 – Got this sample and it is a typical moisturizer I can say. Nothing special, so I wouldn’t purchase this really.
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Lip Balm • starting at $8 – Got this one in an Ipsy bag and I loved it! Clearly, since this is the first time I can remember in forever that I’ve actually used up an entire lip balm!
