Secrets for Growing Long Hair

Hey babes! I wanted to get a quick post up sharing my tips for growing your hair faster! I’ve always had long hair (no extensions) and these past few years it has really grown so fast! Below are the 4 tips I have for how you can get yours to do the same if you’re looking to grow it out 😉

Biotin
Whenever I want my hair to grow faster, this is the best thing to help out! I take a Biotin supplement which helps improve your body’s keratin infrastructure (aka the network of proteins that make up your hair, skin, and nails). Really any brand will do, but this is the one I took. It also made my nails stronger and thus longer too. (I’ve had no side effects.)

Diet
There are also a ton of vitamins in food that will help your hair stay healthy and strong so that it can grow longer and faster. Make sure you are getting enough protein, zinc, iron, and vitamins A-E. Follow my friend Anna’s Instagram here for ideas for healthy meals like the one above 🙂

Frequent Trims
Hair grows so much faster when it has been recently trimmed. I’ll admit that I don’t get my hair trimmed as much as I should, but ideally you should get multiple frequent trims every year in order to keep your hair healthy and able to grow at its best rate!

Stay Away From Heat
To keep your hair healthy, I also recommend staying away from hot tools. If you MUST use them, make sure that you use a heat protector like my current Not Your Mother’s one. Honestly, I think most brands of these work perfectly fine, so no need to splurge on expensive ones 😉
