I’m bringing you a comparison of three mascaras that have been on my radar for a while: the cult classic Too Faced Better Than Sex, the new rumored dupe for it by Loreal, and my classic favorite Loreal mascara. I’ve tested them all out, often wearing one on each eye so I can compare. Here is what I’ve found and would recommend:
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara • $23 – I got a sample of this mascara in a recent Too Faced online order and liked it quite a bit. It gives good enhancement to the fullness of your natural lashes and a decent amount of volume as well. L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara • $9.99 – I waited a while to try this one since I already had a favorite Loreal mascara. But once I learned that I liked the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara (which this is supposed to be a dupe for), I decided I should try this one out for two reasons. The first was to see if the dupe is true, which I could share with my followers who love the Too Faced Better Than Sex. I’ll say that these are very similar in fact, and I don’t see any reason to spend the extra $13 to get the Too Faced one. The second reason I tried this was to see if this might be my new Loreal fave replacing their Telescopic Carbon Black mascara…
L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara • $9.99 – I have to say that this remains my favorite mascara of all time! It is just soooo good at lengthening lashes! No other mascara has ever made my lashes look so long and separated. So, if that is the look you’re going for, this is the mascara for you! It works amazingly and is also super affordable. Another thing I notice is that every other mascara gets on my eyelids after applying and I have to wipe it off with a q-tip. This one never makes a mess, which is a major plus too!
Overall, I’d say that if your priority is length go with the Telescopic Carbon Black. If you’re more concerned with having fuller lashes than gaining length, try the Lash Paradise. 🙂
