Beauty and the Least

The Best of Elf Cosmetics

Hey, babes! Today I wanted to share with you my favorite products from one of the most affordable beauty brands out there: e.l.f. cosmetics! By the way, e.l.f. stands for “eyes, lips, face” in case you ever wondered 😉 You can find the e.l.f. at many drugstores, Target, & Ulta. Click here to get $5 off your ElfCosmetics.com order!
This brand has soooo many products, I could probably never try them all but here are some of my favorites out of the ones I’ve tried so far:

Small Angled Brush ($3) – Elf makes some amazing brushes that are super affordable! I love this one for applying brow powder.

Ultimate Blending Brush ($6) – This is an amazing brush for applying foundation!

Lip Exfoliator ($3) – I go through these monthly! The cap pops off like a lipstick, but then the lipstick portion is actually made of tiny granules and oil to exfoliate your lips as you buff it across them in a circular manner. This one is Coconut, but they offer a few different nice flavors which are all great.

Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow ($3) – This cream shadow is a beautiful metallic plum shade that can be applied directly with fingers, or an eyeshadow brush. There are a few shades, but the one I have is ‘Wine Not.’

Beauty Shield SPF 50 Moisturizer ($12) – If you know me, you know that moisturizer with SPF is a MUST-APPLY for me during the daytime. Most only have around SPF 15-30, but I love that this one is SPF 50. It has what they call a “universal tint,” however it is very light looking when you pump it out. It blends out fine, so it is not a problem for me but I wonder if this might be an issue for women with darker skin tones.

Daily Brush Cleaner ($3) – I use this daily to clean each makeup brush I use. I spray it on the brush after I’m done using it and wipe it off on a tissue. (Then, I do a deep clean with an actual beauty blender cleanser once every week or so.)

Poreless Face Primer ($5.79) – This primer claims to “reduce the look of pores, lines and shine.” It is supposedly an “anti-aging formula infused with tea tree oil and Vitamins A & E.” I think this is a good basic primer. I like the texture because it is similar to that of the Smashbox Photo Finish, however it is white in color, not clear. I think this does a good job of helping makeup adhere more uniformly and last longer throughout the day.
