Sephora VIB Sale Picks

Hey babes, Happy VIB Sale! You made it clear in my Instagram poll that you wanted me to post a list of recommendations for this sale. First, here’s the sale info followed by my recs for the sale running April 20 thru April 23rd:
VIB Rouge members get 15% off their entire purchase with code YAYROUGE
VIB members get 15% off their entire purchase with code YAYVIB
Beauty Insider members get 10% off their entire purchase with code YAYINSIDER

SKINCARE RECOMMENDATIONS:

I also love almost everything from the brand Laneige. Click here to read my in-depth reviews of their products. I especially recommend the Lip Sleeping Mask and Water Bank Moisture Cream.

I love most of the Drunk Elephant products and recommend trying them during the sale since they’re pricey. My favorites are the C-Firma Day Serum which helps fade sunspots and discoloration with the Vitamin C and the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil which feels so good to layer under moisturizer day or night!
*Note: you’re only allowed to purchase 3 Drunk Elephant products per purchase, but you can keep reusing the promo codes so you can easily get around this limitation

I have tried the Tatcha Silk Cream moisturizer and LOVED it. Tatcha  is a super pricey brand, but if you’re looking to buy some of their products this would be a good time.
Another great brand that I think a lot of people will take advantage of the sale with is Sunday Riley. I have not personally tried any of their products yet, but if you’re a fan, now is the time to stock up!

MAKEUP RECOMMENDATIONS:

First things first, let’s talk about foundations. Sale time is a great time to take advantage of a discount on one of the most pricey pieces of makeup that we use. I will say that you should be careful with makeup brands and make sure that you wouldn’t get a better deal during the Ulta 20% off coupon sales or the brands’ Friends & Family Sales. With that being said, here are some of the foundations I would recommend:

I’m a big fan of the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (great for normal to dry skin) recently. Some of my other classic go-to’s are the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place MakeupUrban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation, & Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick (great for travel because you don’t have to worry about liquid leakage!)  I also like the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation that is very popular. Some other highly raved about foundations that I have yet to try are the Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Foundation and the Fenty Pro Filt’r Matte Longwear Foundation.
A cult classic powder that you can use to set your foundation (and all face makeup) in place is the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I totally recommend this one!
I always recommend to use a setting spray after doing your makeup to make sure that it stays put all day and night. My favorite that I swear makes a huge difference is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

One of my favorite eyeliners is the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner. It’s great for the lower waterline because it won’t run and smudge under your eyes (praise Jesus!) The two liquid liners I recommend are the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner.
If you use the Beauty Blender, now is a great time to stock up on replacements.

I haven’t personally tried or even swatched it, but the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette gets rave reviews and looks so dreamy! Major lust alert! People also love the Anastasia Eyeshadow Palettes along with the Anastasia Brow Pomade and Brow Wiz Pencils.
