April Skincare Empties

Hey babes! I’m back with another Empties post! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term “empties,” you probably haven’t read my previous Empties PostsClick here to catch up on my reviews of all the products I’ve used up (and are thus now empty!) After using a product up entirely, it’s a good time for me to give my full review and tell you whether or not I would repurchase it. Click any product below to be linked to purchase! Also click here for my $ saving tricks!

Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment • $59 (for full size) – This is one of the first, classic masks Glamglow carried. It is great to spot-treat zits or apply to the whole face for an allover detox and clearing of the skin. When it dries you can actually see your pores which *I think* means the mask is really pulling the dirt out of them. I have a ton of other detox masks I’m currently using, but I’d repurchase in the future!

Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish • $15 (for full size) – This was a great body exfoliator! I use it in the shower to buff my skin before self/spray tanning or when I need to scrub away the remainder of my spray tan. I have a ton of exfoliators to try still, so I won’t be repurchasing this one (yet) but I definitely recommend!

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque • $52 (for full size) – I really enjoyed this mask, but the price tag is pretty steep. It is really effective for soothing and moisturizing the skin in general, but it doesn’t have any super specific ingredients that address major skin concerns so I would instead use my money on something more beneficial like a whitening or detox mask or even a retinol.

Cetaphil Mositurizing Cream • $15.99 (for full size) – This was a great, thick moisturizer that I used at night. My only concern is that it doesn’t contain SPF so I wouldn’t be able to use it during the day on my face!

Avene Eye and Lip Contour Care • $40 – One of my coworkers gave me this as a gift and I love it! I’m sad I just ran out and I’d totally repurchase, however I wanted to try out the Mario Badescu eye creams so I ordered one of those as my replacement for now!
