Stick Beauty Products Review

St. Ives Cleansing Sticks
I’d seen ads for these in magazines and they looked intriguing! I’m not very into cleansers actually, they just never really excited me or stood out that much from one another. I really like these thought! I have the Cactus Water & Hibiscus one, but they also make an Apricot & Honey and a Matcha Green Tea & Ginger one too. You wet your face, rub this stick across your face, then lather it in with your hands, then rinse off with water. It’s a pretty non-messy way to clean your face and is also great for travel because there’s no liquid that could spill!
Physicians Formula RefreshMint Cucumber & Bamboo Eye De-Puffer

I saw this on a Youtube haul and it looked pretty enticing. I use an eye cream every morning, but this is another product said to help alleviate tired looking eyes. It contains “cooling peppermint, hydrating bamboo, soothing cucumber, nourishing aloe vera, and refreshing glacial water.” I glide this on my under-eye area each morning (before my eye cream goes on) and it feels pretty cooling and soothing. I don’t have huge under eye bags so I’m not sure if it would solve that issue, but it’s worth a shot!

Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal 2-in-1 Scrub and Cleanser Stick
Ever since I noticed this on the Ulta website, I’d wondered if it was a dupe for the Tarte Frxxxtion stick that I like. I’d say it pretty much is! This stick “exfoliates and cleanses in one swipe” and is “formulated with charcoal powder to remove impurities and excess oil, as well as tomato extract to help leave skin naturally clear.” Just like the St. Ives cleanser, I wet my face, swipe this all around, then lather it in with circular motions, then ultimately rinse it off. The difference is that this one has a more grainy texture that lightly exfoliates the face, whereas the St. Ives sticks are coconut oil-based so they feel more silky smooth. You can see the different textures below:
